Dr. Fania Bajot is a French-born, UK-based abstract artist and scientist with a PhD in biochemistry. Her practice bridges two creative worlds: structured visual systems rooted in scientific logic, and vibrant, expressive paintings inspired by her French West Indies background.

Fania explores how rhythm, symmetry, and transformation can be used to construct meaning—whether through hand-painted compositions, photographic fragments, or digital layering. In her Code Construct and mixed-media series, she works with repetition, rotation, and encoded forms to evoke language, structure, and emotion. In parallel, her colourful abstract paintings draw from memory, movement, and personal connection to nature and the sea, often reflecting her Caribbean roots.
