Inspired by the resilience, beauty, and emotional complexity of French Caribbean women, particularly my grandmother, each shape and contour in this piece represents a distinct facet of femininity.

The layers rise and interlock, becoming a visual architecture of identity, strength, tenderness, memory, and resistance coexisting in form. What begins as pigment on paper becomes volume and space: a celebration of womanhood as both grounded and transcendent.
